Three Ways to Care for Your Timepiece
From a straightforward care visit to a planned vintage restoration — each programme is sized to the watch and what it actually needs.
Back to HomeOur Approach
How We Work Through a Service
Every piece that comes into the workshop follows the same opening steps: we examine it, note its condition, and explain what we find to the owner. No work begins before that conversation. From there, the path divides depending on what the watch needs.
A Dial-Ready Refresh is completed within a few working days. A Movement Service takes one to two weeks. A Keepsake Restoration is planned work — we agree on a timeline, then provide progress notes at each stage so the owner stays connected to what's happening with their piece.
Assessment & Discussion
We examine the watch and explain our findings. You decide what to proceed with.
Service in Progress
Work is carried out on our bench in George Town. For restoration, you receive progress notes.
Quality Check
Mechanical work is verified on a timing machine. Any concerns are addressed before collection is arranged.
Collection & Condition Note
Your watch is returned with a written note of everything that was done and found.

Our Standards
Applied Across All Services
In-House Only
All work is done in our George Town premises. No third-party workshops, no postal risks.
No Scope Creep
Any change to scope or cost is discussed and agreed with the owner before work proceeds further.
Documented Results
Written notes of findings and work accompany every job at collection. Timing readings are included for mechanical services.
Secure Storage
Pieces not on the bench are held in locked storage within the workshop. An intake log tracks every item from arrival to return.
Correct Lubricants
We use viscosity-matched lubricants for each movement zone: escapement, gear train, and keyless work each receive the appropriate grade.
Timing Verification
Mechanical movements are measured on a calibrated timing machine in multiple positions. Results form part of the condition note.
